“You only fail when you stop trying.”
I was born and raised in Walnut Creek, California, where I grew up in a close-knit family with my mom, dad, and older brother. Watching my dad build and run his own IT company had a lasting impact on me. During summers, I worked alongside him and saw firsthand the dedication and pride he put into his work, teaching me the importance of hard work and determination from a young age.
My favorite part about working at TEE is the people I get to collaborate with every day. The team is uplifting, supportive, and genuinely encouraging, which makes coming to work something I look forward to. Since starting here, I’ve been surprised by how much I’ve grown — not only improving my skills as a designer, but also developing as a teammate and leader. From my internship days learning drafting and Revit to taking on design responsibilities with guidance from mentors, I’ve appreciated every opportunity to learn and contribute.
As a kid, I earned my black belt at age ten, an accomplishment that taught me perseverance and showed me that the hardest goals are often the most rewarding to achieve.
Looking ahead, I encourage new team members to ask questions and pursue what interests them at TEE, that curiosity opens the door to growth and opportunity.
