“Learning is not attained by chance,
it must be sought for with ardor and diligence.”
I was raised in Upstate New York. I lived in a small town on a lake and spent most of my childhood exploring the surrounding nature. My family consists of myself, my little sister, my parents, and their cat, Olivia. We enjoy food and cooking, movie nights, and gardening.
When I was very young, I wanted to be a pediatrician for no reason except I thought it was cool. As I grew into high school, I wanted to pursue writing but my high school physics class gave me a special interest in science and eventually engineering.
I am excited by the unique position engineers hold to drastically change the world for the better. In recent years, the ongoing climate crisis has especially challenged me to pursue engineering for the amelioration of this disaster.
I most enjoy how willing everyone is to help others here at TEE. The work community really embraces the idea that there are “no dumb questions.”
